Percentage = (Part Γ· Whole) Γ 100. For example, 30 out of 200 = (30 Γ· 200) Γ 100 = 15%.
Percentage increase = ((New Value - Old Value) / Old Value) Γ 100. Example: from 80 to 100 = ((100-80)/80) Γ 100 = 25% increase.
